Digging Out Phase and Accelerant Detection
Digging out phase or excavating the seat of the fire is a careful examination of the fire debris one by one and layer by layer to discover important detail during a fire such as what materials were burned first and what was the last. The detection of accelerants may also be possible during the digging out process, and this is the theme of the video presentation below.
