The Philippine Society of Criminology Inc. are composed of different membership categories, they are the following:

HONORARY MEMBERS
It is conferred to any individual from various law enforcement agencies or related offices, for which the society has waived the customary membership requirements, to honor the individual’s distinguished contributions to the field of criminology and criminal justice, or society at large.
Upon its resolution, the Board of Trustees of the Society shall award such distinction.
Honorary Members are entitled to all existing services offered by the Society, including the right to vote and to be voted for any position in the Society, and are not exempt from the payment of fees.
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS
Any Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) offering the BS Criminology Program with corresponding Government Recognition or Permit (GR or GP) issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Any government or private agency whose services or industry are related to criminology, public safety, and security is enthusiastic about supporting the remarkable efforts of the PSCI.
REGULAR MEMBERS
A Licensed Criminologist (with Active PRC Identification Card);
Any Professional/Licensed Criminologists in an executive, managerial or supervisory position or as educator, lecturer or trainer in any Academic or Training Institutions;
All Regular Members are entitled to all existing services offered by the Society including the Right to Vote and to be voted for any position in the Society.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Any Individual who has graduated BS Criminology but not yet Registered as such; or
Any individual with professional interest in Criminology seeking educational and professional benefits provided by the Society;Â or
Any Full-time students actively pursuing a Criminology degree are eligible as Associate members (that is, undergraduate students taking at least nine credit hours, and graduate students taking at least six credit hours); and
All Associate Members are not eligible to run/be voted for any position in the Society, however, are entitled to join for any academic and professional services/training given by the Society.
Membership Committee:
The Board shall create a Membership Committee to be headed by a Chairman to review the application submitted by an individual.. The following are the functions of the Committee:
- Receives application for membership from any institution or individuals;
- Evaluate and review the application versus the Categories and Requirements for Membership;
- Endorse the application to the Board for Approval; and
- Other Functions:

- Reaches out to Criminologists and other interested Criminology enthusiasts to increase the membership of the Society;
- Contacts a wide variety of organizations, academic institutions, and government and non-government entities in an attempt to solicit more members for the Society.
