Application of the Basic Concepts of Traffic Enforcement & Accident Investigation
This module will cover a discussion of the basic concept of traffic enforcement and traffic investigation by presenting a series of videos from defining and discussing important terms needed in this study up to other components of the traffic system for a full understanding of the module coverage.
With this let’s begin with the video presentation:
Your takeaways here are what is traffic, where the word traffic came from, what is traffic management, and the entities involved particularly in our country.
Our next video will talk about the three (3) “Es” of traffic with emphasis on EDUCATION.
Next to be presented here are the classifications of the different licenses that formed part of traffic education.
The last part of traffic education is the classifications of car plates existing in the Philippines.
THE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT
Traffic education coverage is over, our next video is about “traffic enforcement”, you may now proceed to watch!
THE TRAFFIC ENGINEERING
Our short presentation on traffic “ENFORCEMENT” had just ended and let’s proceed with traffic “ENGINEERING” comprising several series. Let’s watch this!
That is what traffic engineering is. Next in our video are the traffic control devices and aids.
THE TRAFFIC SIGNAGES
In relation to the traffic control devices, our next video will explain what are “traffic signages” and their different classifications.
We had just watched the portion and introductory part of traffic signages and this is the continuation; this time the emphasis is on “Regulatory Signages”. Watch our video!
What are signages pertaining to “Special Regulations Signs”? The video below will discuss special regulation signs.
We had just seen the standard road signs in our country (the Philippines) and our next video will show not only the summary of the traffic signages but will reiterate the inconsistencies between those that are prescribed by the DPWH and the LTO. Even observers abroad had noticed that that’s why even on the internet they commented “However, some road signs may differ by locale, and mostly diverge from the national standard”. Then we try also to emphasize here some of the lackings signages to make the people aware in terms of dangers, information, and regulation.
so watch this presentation:
ROAD PAVEMENTS AND MARKINGS
We are now through with the road signages and are aware of its purpose, in our next video is the “Traffic Pavement Markings and Markers” divided into two (6) parts. Consider watching the series of videos simultaneously after watching the first one:
(Part 1)
(Part 2)
(Transverse Part 1)
(Transverse Part 2)
(Pavement and Curved Markings Part 1)
(Pavement and Curved Markings Part 2)
THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS, SIGNALS, AND ISLANDS
The last episode of this module is the “traffic lights and signals”, and will discuss how does it works and included also in this video are the traffic islands. Watch our last series below!
Our module 2 had just ended!
Be able to remember all your takeaways not just because you are a road user. All the information derived from this module and study is very important for future “traffic investigators.
CONGRATULATIONS!
